something else: peach perfection

Peach has recently been one of my new favourite colours, I feel that it is just so pretty and can work well with the different seasons. I hope you can understand why I would fall for this beautiful peach-inspired tablescape! The rosy flowers complement the real peaches that are used in the centerpiece and the table settings, and the floor-length table linens really add to the elegance of the entirety. However, my two most favourite elements of this table are the placemats (love the texture!) and the lustrous flatware. I am not typically drawn to highly polished flatware, I usually like the muted, vintage feel, but these are intricate, charming, and absolutely beautiful.

something else: perfect mix-and-match

I love everything about this photoshoot. The gorgeous, wild, florals are exactly the kinds of flowers I want to be surrounded by everyday. The vintage books and dessert plates fit the entire tone of the tablescape to a T and it reminds me of my collection of vintage children's books. The delicate eyelet-inspired cake looks just too pretty to eat and it's the kind of thing you wish you could save and admire every now and then. One of the things I love about mix and match vases are that you can choose to use them in your home after the wedding, give them away at the end of the day, or donate them to another bride with a similar wedding style!

something else: the garden essence

The fresh greenery makes this delightfully welcoming. I like how they incorporated brown into the decor, not in the linens as you usually see done, but in the centerpiece containers, the tables + chairs, and the round basket weave chargers. It's very sophisticated, and the colour scheme is pulled off effortlessly!

something else: can i be your superman?

I love this idea, it's fantastic when the groom can let go and be a little silly! Now where exactly does one buy a grown-up sized Superman shirt?

something else: romance in the gardens

This picture just took my breath away. The vine covered arch and the generous stands of roses frame the couple perfectly, and the chandelier dripping with crystals could not be more elegant. I cannot picture a more romantic setting. Le sigh.

something else: rustic and perfectly elegant

Food photography has to be one of the greatest things since sliced bread. These desserts look divine, and the rustic elegant tablescape makes me so happy!! It looks like they used kraft paper on the tables, vintage silverware, and simple white plates.

something else: clean and modern

I love this unexpected combination of coral, navy, and white that JL Designs used in their latest tablescape. It's very modern and they incorporated some exciting elements like the patterned cloth napkins and the sunny yellow roses flopping from their white vases. Excellent tablescape, I'd love to try something like this!

something else: a cup for me and a cup for you

I found this cute photo on a Brazilian wedding blog, which, I might add, I was very excited to find. I'd like to feature some real weddings from Brazil and other countries so that our content here at Just Happily Ever After is fresh and new to you! I only speak a little Portuguese, so I hope you'll forgive me for not knowing the photographer behind today's photo. Cheers!

something else: wine country at its finest

This photoshoot incorporates so many special elements that I just had to share! The invitations are just exceptional. I love how the lines of the envelope follow the lines of the invitation. The little dessert dishes filled with berries are fabulous; I'd love a set of those. And if you don't know already, I am infatuated with vintage dishes and flatware! There's just something about them that I love...they have such character and beauty, and when they are presented so effortlessly well there is no way for me not to like them. The last photo shows the antique bird cages dangling from the tree branches, this is a play off the hanging paper lanterns trend, only better.

something else: french floral design

After reading about French-style floral design on L'art du Bouquet, I am completely enamoured with the French design and I am so inspired! I love the texture and greenery in these designs. They are all incredibly romantic...oh. my. goodness.

something else: skitch sketch

Wow, this is a marvelous idea. You can send in a picture of your wedding gown and your soon-to-be hubby's tux and get a fantastic sketch done which you can frame as a special keepsake of the big day! I feel that this is a particularly great idea for those who plan on selling their dress after the wedding. A little something to keep in mind perhaps?

something else: wooden tableware...and it's eco-friendly too!

These are such a great alternative to plasticware for those who don't want the added cost of renting forks and spoons and knives. Especially when you have much more significant things you'd like to spend your money on! Best of all, these are birch wood and therefore 100% biodegradable and compostable. I could easily see these in a lovely rustic outdoor wedding.

something else: perfectly pleasing yellow and grey

Where brown has been the go-to foundational wedding color in the past few years, I feel that grey has become the new brown. To me, grey can be soft and it can be powerful. One of my current favourite color combinations right now is pairing grey with a cheery yellow. I adore this lemon-lime-grey inspiration board lovingly created by The Perfect Palette. Enjoy!

something else: clean and classic white

I love the look of a modern orchid centerpiece, a square vase adds so much to it! Intricate, ceramic vases give any floral arrangment an elegant and high-class tone. We also love the silver mint julep cups and the lush greenery of viburnum and hypericum. My favourite is by far the "Enchanted Evening" centerpiece, it is made up of lovely cream and white roses, asiatic lilies, and alstroemeria.

I have to mention the quaintness of a little white cottage in the middle of a grassy field, with blue skies and wispy clouds overhead. Imagine a small, intimate wedding here...a classic white cake, rustic wooden benches, and a romantic first dance under an oak tree strung up with white christmas lights and paper lanterns. Love it.
