something else: peach perfection
Peach has recently been one of my new favourite colours, I feel that it is just so pretty and can work well with the different seasons. I hope you can understand why I would fall for this beautiful peach-inspired tablescape! The rosy flowers complement the real peaches that are used in the centerpiece and the table settings, and the floor-length table linens really add to the elegance of the entirety. However, my two most favourite elements of this table are the placemats (love the texture!) and the lustrous flatware. I am not typically drawn to highly polished flatware, I usually like the muted, vintage feel, but these are intricate, charming, and absolutely beautiful.

something else: perfect mix-and-match
I love everything about this photoshoot. The gorgeous, wild, florals are exactly the kinds of flowers I want to be surrounded by everyday. The vintage books and dessert plates fit the entire tone of the tablescape to a T and it reminds me of my collection of vintage children's books. The delicate eyelet-inspired cake looks just too pretty to eat and it's the kind of thing you wish you could save and admire every now and then. One of the things I love about mix and match vases are that you can choose to use them in your home after the wedding, give them away at the end of the day, or donate them to another bride with a similar wedding style!

something else: the garden essence
The fresh greenery makes this delightfully welcoming. I like how they incorporated brown into the decor, not in the linens as you usually see done, but in the centerpiece containers, the tables + chairs, and the round basket weave chargers. It's very sophisticated, and the colour scheme is pulled off effortlessly!

something else: rustic and perfectly elegant
Food photography has to be one of the greatest things since sliced bread. These desserts look divine, and the rustic elegant tablescape makes me so happy!! It looks like they used kraft paper on the tables, vintage silverware, and simple white plates.

something else: clean and modern
I love this unexpected combination of coral, navy, and white that JL Designs used in their latest tablescape. It's very modern and they incorporated some exciting elements like the patterned cloth napkins and the sunny yellow roses flopping from their white vases. Excellent tablescape, I'd love to try something like this!

something else: wine country at its finest
This photoshoot incorporates so many special elements that I just had to share! The invitations are just exceptional. I love how the lines of the envelope follow the lines of the invitation. The little dessert dishes filled with berries are fabulous; I'd love a set of those.
And if you don't know already, I am infatuated with vintage dishes and flatware! There's just something about them that I love...they have such character and beauty, and when they are presented so effortlessly well there is no way for me not to like them. The last photo shows the antique bird cages dangling from the tree branches, this is a play off the hanging paper lanterns trend, only better.

pretty little things: apples to apples
This placecard presentation is so perfect for an autumn wedding. I love how the colour of the apples echo the red doors standing in the back! As we transition into fall I hope to bring you more and more autumn-inspired weddings, so consider this a sneak peek!

pretty little things: eco chic in every way
This JL Designs photoshoot was beautiful and proved that ecofriendly is every bit as pretty (if not more) than one that is not. The vases and sheet tablecloths were all thrifted, the invitations were printed on recycled paper, and the dresses were created using organic and sustainable materials. Bravo!
P.S. The last bouquet is made of balsa wood flowers which can be reused over and over again!

pretty little things: woodsy and whimsical
Heather Balliet of Amorology Weddings recently posted a gorgeous tablescape that I fell in love with. Her work is incredibly detailed, every little part adds significantly to the greater whole. The cute fabric snails are created by Jenn Clark of Pincushion Princess, again, just excellent! Below is a quote from Heather that was so fitting and conveyed her passion for what she does so well:
" I love that moment after a rainfall when you step outside and the sun has begun to shine and the grass is still wet and sparkly and everything looks a little cleaner and brighter than usual. Even the flowers seem more alive! I too see marriage being the beginning of something new, as beautiful as the earth after rain, living and breathing with life, hope, and possibility."

pretty little things: garden lights and blooms
These are ordinary yet unordinary. Rustic vase alternatives add character to a wedding.
A pretty garden setting is all one needs--imagine this place filled with soft, glorious lighting as the sun sets. Ivory candles and natural paper lanterns would be so romantic!
Lights hanging at different heights make the simplicity of this table wonderfully inviting. Note how they are all different shapes and sizes!
